about andreea

It all started with a Dream...I've started Ballet since I was 3 years old, I and was blessed to share the Stage with the best Ballet and Dance professionals. Dancing is my way of expressing my feelings and along the road, I've also developed many other skills, including acting. I've choreographed shows for the most prestigious artists in Romania, TV Shows, Circus Acts and Dance Performers. The rewards were numerous, and  together with my group of Dancers and Circus Acrobats, I received the Bronze Clown at The International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo, an International Circus Gala held every year in January, where all the top Dancers and Circus Artists perform.

I developed other skills because of my love for Shows and Stage. I've learned all about  Light Design, Stage Props and also Art Direction, Costume Design and Creation. I started working on show costumes for various Romanian Artists, and also for Musical Shows.  In 2011 I created my own company, Andrinya Dream Factory!

My creations were endorsed by one of the most famous Singer and TV Star in Romania, Nicoleta Luciu. I'm proud that Nicoleta was so amazed by my creations and accepted to wear them in a photo session and also in  her Shows!

I've always returned to my first love...the love for Ballet and teaching children. I feel that my destiny is to share my knowledge and to teach children to be better in every way possible. Ballet is about being better, being disciplined, hard working, it is about becoming graceful, beautiful and healthy. Ballet is the first step to different Dance styles. Once you master the Ballet Dance skills, you can easily switch to any other type of Dance. I was privileged to teach Ballet in Europe, Australia and now in the United States!

I am so excited to bring my knowledge in Ballet, Dance, Show Design, Art Direction,  Creation and Costume Design to the American Culture! I'm so privileged to teach Ballet in the USA!

I'm very proud of my students. Being able to see them dancing and expressing their emotions on the stage is my biggest reward! Trough a technique I've developed trough experience and study, I can say that I'm more than happy seeing them on stage in a very short time. They are not trying to be professionals, but the love for dance, the discipline and commitment are the main reasons for their performance! Well done, kids!

Andreea Mateescu Houston Ballerina “You have to love dancing to stick to it. It gives you nothing back, no manuscripts to store away, no paintings to show on walls and maybe hang in museums, no poems to be printed and sold, nothing but that single fleeting moment when you feel alive.” Merce Cunningham
